Kusumkumari Das (কুসুমকুমারী দাশ)

Kusumkumari Das (also known as Kusumkumari Devi) was an Indian Bengali poet, writer and social activist. 

She was born to Chandranath Das and Dhanamani Devi on 21 September 1875 in Barishal, present-day Bangladesh. She married Satyananda Das in 1894. She had two sons and one daughter. Her son Jibanananda Das was a famous poet and writer. 

Her writings were published in the then famous Bengali literary magazines like 'Mukul', 'Bhramabadi', 'Prabasi', etc. Her books are 'Kabyamukul', 'Pouranik Akhyayika', 'Kusumkumari Dasher Kobita' and 'Dainandin Dinalipi'. She received a gold medal for the essay 'Naritver Adarsha'. 

She died on 25 December 1948 in Kolkata, India.

Prasenjit Dutta (born in 1981) is an Indian Bengali chess player and coach from Tripura. He is the founder of "Matrix Chess Academy".
