Aparajita Roy (অপরাজিতা রায়)

 


Aparajita Roy was an Indian Bengali poet and essayist. 

She was born on the 27th July, 1929 in Guwahati, Assam. She came to Agartala during the 1950s and worked as a government school teacher. She retired from service as the additional director of the education department of Tripura. 

Her literary career ran over four decades. Her books are 'Baire Baul', 'Sahityer Bibartita Bastab', 'Jharo Hawar Jhapta', 'Narimukti O Rabindranath', 'Ekhano Andhakaar', 'Dwitiya Sharir', etc. 

She was awarded the 'Rabindra Puraskar' by the Government of Tripura in 2001. She died on the 11th September, 2020 in Tripura.

Anangamohini Devi was an Indian Bengali poet from Tripura.  She was born on 20 February 1864.  Her father was Bir Chandra Manikya. He inspired her to write poetry. শ্রীরাধা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় (Sreeradha Bandyopadhyay/ Sreeradha Banerjee/ Sriradha Banerjee)
